The weather is getting warmer, the days are longer and the kids are out in full force. I myself am sitting back counting down the days till Summer vacation starts. Like my boys I get to be home and enjoying all their fun adventures. With the year ending I also start planning gifts for the teachers. I mean for the last ten months they have had my boys more during the week then I have. That means each and everyday they have helped my boys grow in many ways, so thanking them is only natural. DIY Natural Carpet Deodorizer

I spent my week-end cleaning. The boys u sally do their own room, but once every couple of weeks I go in and do a deep clean. This involves dusting, vacuuming, going through toy boxes and drawers. Sounds fun right? When I was on my rampage cleaning spree I noticed I was out of carpet deodorizer, and it was a holiday so everything was closed. Thank goodness I remembered my friend Stacy telling me she uses baking soda and essential oils.     What you need: 1 Cup of Baking Soda 10  ...

Crochet Valentine Hearts

When thinking of what to crochet for Valentine’s Day, I got a bit of inspiration from Repeat Crafter Me with her Puffy Heart pattern.  I worked from her pattern to create two quick and easy projects! Three Heart Mobile Using the Puffy Heart pattern, I made three puffy hearts.  I chose to make mine red, white and pink.  You could choose which ever colors are your favorite.  Then cut a 30 inch length of each color yarn, fold them in half together and loop tied them to a key chain ring.   ...

How to make a Paper Heart Chain Garland#DIY

By now you have realized it is February and I am sharing fun Valentine’s Day crafts and recipes. I love things that are quick, simple and look great. Nothing is worse then spending hours on a project and it not turning out. If we are honest I don’t have time for that with two busy boys. Mom vs the Boys knows the struggle as she has three boys of her own. I love her posts as I know she doesn’t have time for long crazy projects either. So when I came across her post on Paper  ...
