2017 Holiday Gift Guide, Gifts for Women

Holiday Edition: Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Wine

Nothing is better then sitting in front of the Christmas tree with a nice glass of wine wrapping presents. Every year I spend an evening sorting the gifts and wrapping each item with love and excitement as I know my loved ones will be opening them. Normally I get a bottle of sparkling wine, not this year!

Holiday Edition: Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Wine

Girls Night Out Wines has brought back their Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Wine this holiday season and you need to pick some up. Close your eyes and envision tart, ripe raspberries paired with delicious dark chocolate because that is exactly what you get with each glass of this wine.

I did find this wine not enjoyed warm so be sure to chill it. I personally stuck it in the freezer till it almost had ice crystals. It went down super smooth and had a bold but very enjoyable taste. There was a subtle after taste but nothing that stopped me from having another glass.

This wine can be paired with chocolate covered strawberries, poured over ice cream, or incorporated into a chocolate martini! Check out this  Chocolate Raspberry Martini recipe. Serve it at your next girls night or during the holiday season. But one thing is for sure be sure to pick up a bottle before they are gone!

I very, very rarely drink alcohol but this might just tempt me – thanks for the pointer about drinking it cold. 🙂
